What would you do if the man you loved but thought was dead stood in front of you?
In Lethal Reprisal, that’s the dilemma that heroine Marley is dealing with. Years ago, Warwick and Marley had a whirlwind relationship, but there was an incident with his job and Marley was told he died. Lo and behold that isn’t true… but Warwick never feels as though it is safe to go back to her. Until he sees a her with friends of friends and he can’t stay away. His plan is to see, but not engage. But we all know what happens with the best laid plans… Life implodes for them both in ways that are not expected.
This third person story gives us multiple view points from different characters. This series is an interconnected in a way that the characters and the stories over lap, but I feel as though you do not have to read this series in order. However, you do get a better feel of the characters and their introductions if you do. Each story in the Crimson Point Protectors series follows a new couple and they get their HEA. There are some overarching themes, but each book has its own suspense element. This series has been up and down for me. It was engaging from the start, but there were some missteps in the stories for me in the way in which they played out. That being said. It’s an extremely well written cast of characters, and we get visits from the original Crimson Point heroes and heroines as well.
Lethal Reprisal gave me everything I want and need in a romantic suspense story that I don’t want to put down.
