I have been waiting for this couple since I read the original duet… but then we got Penni and Cannon so I had to wait some more. (You can check out that review here.)

The wait was worth it. Holland and Kase are both big parts of this friend group, but we only have gotten snippets of them. Kase is mixed in with some mafiaesque lifestyle but we don’t get a clear picture on. And Holland aside from that fact that she is a designer, that is all we know about her backstory. If you haven’t read Ruined & Redeemed or Devastated & Devoted, don’t worry. You do not need to.

Holland is a woman that is focus on being independent and keeping herself separated from her past. However, her past is about to come crashing into her world she doesn’t expect. Kase uses his own past to try and protect Holland when he realizes she is in danger. Kase is such a protector to this woman who he has an intense connection.

Kase is a man who has always wanted to live his life differently than expectation. And he never wants to create another generation in which they will live the way he has. I don’t want to give more away because this is a story that you need to read… but let me tell you the cliffhanger on this book… I WAS NOT EXPECTING THAT!!!

Cherished

POV: Dual 1st Person
PoP: 25%
Tropes: Heroine in Danger; Friend Group; Anti-Hero
Series: Corrupted and Cherished Duet
Rate: 4 /5 Stars
Release Date: March 20, 2023

Picks up a couple weeks after the end of book one. Holland is basically a prisoner in her old life, and is spiraling a little bit because she has lost control. And when we get a glimpse of how Kase is reacting, he is not doing well. Kase wants Holland with him, but at the same time doesn’t know how to get those things to happen.

I don’t want to give too much away because of the way this duet plays out. This is a series that you do not want to miss.
