This series was my first foray into the Kylie Kent world, and I didn’t stop here. The Sons of Valentino follow the four sons of Theo and Holly Valentino and their obsessive need to claim their women. Theo, Matteo, and twins, Romeo and Luca are three men who when they fall they fall hard and fast. These four books are set as standalones, so you can jump around this series. This is one of those reviews that while I want to rave and rant, it’s a series that you need to read on your own.
There are good and bad items to each book. My favorite of the four is book four which is Reckless Devil. There was just something about this book that didn’t want to let me go. There are moments when you want to bash the hero and heroines heads against each other because of the internal issues, but at the same time you get it. These are heroines who are strong… whether they start out that way or not they end of the book with backbones. While they may not always be strong, they do always hold their own with the Valentino men. Which makes sense with the way Kent writes these books because they are not men that would do well with a doormat of a heroine. There is on page violence in these stories so check for trigger warnings.
