Review: Perfect Secret by Molly McLain

Rating: 5/5
Tropes: Small Town, Cowboy, close proximity, fake relationship
Series: Book 12 in the Mason Creek Mutli-author series. (Standalone)

I devoured this book in one sitting. I could not get enough of Alana and Holden. There was magic in their story, and I just loved every word. The ending was perfect and not typical, and I loved it!

This small town and cowboys done right! I really cannot stress enough how much I loved this book.

Alana is this strong and independent woman.  A broken heart in college changes the course of her life but she doesn’t wallow. Instead, she makes a new future for herself in her hometown and kicks ass while doing it.  Her past scars drove her to succeed while she bit major walls around her heart.

Holden comes to Mason Creek to hide from a media storm and to let the dust settle on his PR nightmare. Holden has a quiet strength about him. He has a subtleness to him that you don’t even realize he is making his move. Living across the hall from each other and sharing a bathroom leads to the perfect storm of chemistry between them.

Molly McLain is a newer to me author but when I say her small town romance are amazing, seriously amazing I mean it.  She has a way of weaving these stories that leaving you wanting more or to move there!  Perfect Secret is a funny, emotional, and downright sexy read! This is part of a multiauthor series, but I read it as a complete standalone.  Alana and Holden to finding their happily-ever-after will have you falling in love along with them.
