Usually, when I read a Melissa Foster book, I come out satisfied. I know what to expect in her writing and character development. However, there are rare times I am disappointed, unfortunately Enticing Her Love is one of those times.  I have been looking forward to Sutton’s story since she was first introduced in book one, and Flynn’s mentions in books throughout the series intrigued me. Their storyline is usually one of my favorites in the way in which it plays out.  But their characters just weren’t enough for me.  The storyline was intriguing, and the editing was strong. But these characters did not draw me in the way I want in a story.

With many of the Steele siblings, the chemistry is unmatched.  However, in Enticing Her Love, the chemistry didn’t flow off the page.  I enjoyed their banter, but the relationship side didn’t work for me.  This isn’t to say I didn’t enjoy the story I did.  There were definitely moments in the book that I enjoyed. Flynn for sure had some swoony moments. Sutton was a strong character who knew who she was and what she wanted. But the spark that I want in a Foster book wasn’t there. I LOVE the Steele family as a whole, but this one missed the mark for me.
