Kane & Isabella prove that opposites attract in the best way
This story highlights individual character struggles and development exceptionally well. Kane is stuck in a vicious cycle of anger and loneliness due to a traumatic past. Isabella is discovering who she is after her identity was taken away by a career ending injury. They compliment each other in a way that I wasn’t expecting. The author does a fantastic job of weaving their lives together through external forces that creates a bond of friendship and mutual respect outside of the explosive attraction.
I connected with Kane and Isabella individually, but not as much as a couple. They had great chemistry and I did believe in the HEA, but this story focused more on their personal journeys rather than their relationship. I hope to see more of them in future books.
The gym scenes are always my favorite and this book did not disappoint. They provided the canvas for Kane to mentally work through his problems while giving readers more of their favorite characters from previous books. The Jax & Hailey cameos were everything.
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.
