Trapped in Ice the next book in the Ice Breakers Cold Case Series.

Madelyn and Smith have known each other since they were sixteen years old. But what Smith never knew is that Madelyn is hiding and running from a traumatic past. Smith is a man that has harbored feelings for Madelyn since they were sixteen, but essentially she was “Trapped in Ice” when it came to him. She didn’t let people in, kept to herself, and because of that assumptions were made.

But now they are grown up and Smith isn’t ready for Madelyn keep him out any longer. However, her past is coming back at her with a vengeance. If you love a cold case crime show or podcast then this is the series for you. It delves into old cases that come back to haunt the main characters and the Ice Breakers are there to solve the case. These two have wonderful chemistry and while Smith believes that he isn’t a good guy he really and truly is. The motives behind his actions are all done out of the care he has for Madelyn.

Trapped in Ice is a standalone and you don’t have to read the other books in the series. While there are interactions with previous characters, the story itself revolves around our main characters relationship and story. I enjoy Eden’s writing style and they are always books that I have a hard time putting down.
