When you get far into a series, you sometimes wonder if the author is able to keep up the momentum. And boy does Gina Azzi continue to give us great reads. Luca Pandatelli is the typical playboy hockey player, and when he falls he falls hard. But he makes BIG mistakes at the same time. He hooks up with Abbi Walsh, aka BFF to Chloe from book 5, and has this intense weekend that he is willing to break his rules for. However, life gets in the way and he never calls. When they cross paths again, Abbi who has been let down time and time again by men in her life has frozen him out. Panda is that hero that you want to punch because of some of the choices that he makes. Abbi you want to hold and squeeze tight. No, she hasn’t always made the best decisions in life, but she has be dealt a crap hand a lot of the time. Panda starts to re-evaluate his life and the way it looks and is frustrated at the way he has lived his life. Especially after some hard truths from his family. These two do not have an easy journey to their HEA, but I will say that once Luca is in…he is ALL IN. This is a hockey light hockey romance, but we get to re-visit some of our favorite characters from previous books. You will not be disappointed in this series, and Gina Azzi continues to give us great books!
