I love an AM Hargrove book and I was really looking forwards to this book. We met both Stanton and Stacey in For the Love of Easton, and I was anxiously awaiting each of their books and I was so excited to see that she was putting these two together. I love their dynamic when they first meet. I adore the fact that Stacey doesn’t allow Stanton to pull his usually bossy stuff with her at first. They fall into each other in a way that is unexpected, but yet expected at the same time. I really enjoy the way in which Stacey holds to her guns for the most part.

You see where Stacey and Stanton are moving towards, and there are a couple things that happen that change their entire course of their relationship and you see just how arrogant and bossy Stanton can become. There were a couple moments in which I felt like Stacey let him win when she shouldn’t have, but at the same time you get that she is just almost resigned in the fact that she is stuck where she is. I felt like their turnaround was a little abrupt and I wish that Stanton groveled a little bit more because of his treatment of Stacey for a little bit there, but their HEA is adorable, and we get that tiny little snippet into the next book of the Baines Family.
