Going into this book, I wasn’t sure what I was going to get. I haven’t delved into the Vengeance Series with the Valkyries quite yet. But having only read Trinity and Brody’s book I can tell you, I wasn’t lost. There were some nuances that I definitely miss out on, but overall I got a really good understanding of the characters and their significant others.

This book brings the group back tighter again because of a threat that is possible to all of them. They come out of their “retirement” to fight again as a whole entity. You get little insights to the relationships that each couple have, and just how well they fit together. This kept me engaged and I couldn’t put the book down. Reading this makes me want to go back and read each and every story so that I can understand just how the couples came to be.
