Ep 305: Five Star Weekend Review

On this episode of Buzzing About Romance, Becky is joined by Lindsey and Heather to review Peacock’s The Five-Star Weekend, the adaptation of Elin Hilderbrand’s bestselling novel. We’re breaking down the series, the romance, the friendships, the drama, and how the Peacock adaptation compares to the book.

Synopsis:

Hollis Shaw is a successful cook and author whose picture-perfect life cracks open after the sudden death of her husband. Looking for a way through her grief, she invites women from different eras of her life to spend a weekend together at her Nantucket home. Naturally, putting that much history, grief, friendship, resentment, and buried information under one very expensive roof goes exactly as calmly as you’d expect.

Quick disclaimer: SPOILERS AHEAD. We’re talking about the whole season, so if you haven’t watched all eight episodes, this is your warning to go binge first and come back.
