Review: We’re Made of Moments by Molly McLain

Rating: 4.5./5
Steam: 3/5
Angst: 4/5
Tropes: Single mom, second chance, love triangle, small town,

This book is really good.  Hayden and Jesse will have you rooting for them from the beginning.

The struggle for Hayden and Jesse is to come to terms with their feelings towards each other. It isn’t an easy road for either one of them to get there.  The love and respect Hayden and Jesse have for one another is endearing! The respect and control that Jesse has toward Hayden and her choices is remarkable.  I really loved their coming together.  The author did a great job balancing all their life choices and keeping an air of respect for the other characters in play.

The chemistry between them is undeniable.  You can feel their pull like two strong magnets.  It is more than that they share a child.  They truly share a soul.  The host and family of side characters really made this story and their journey come alive including Jett, their little guy.

I don’t typically love a second chance romance, but this was a well done. I love a single mom romance. I do think it is important though that this starts very much out as a love triangle but does not read as a typical triangle story.  Be prepared for a strong emotional read and characters that leave you with big feels! I really hope that we will get Jesse’s siblings stories.
