Trope: Office Trope, Instant Connection, Funny Meet Cute
This is part of a series of Standalones.
Right from the start, Tess and Liam have an perfect meet cute! It involves lingerie and a book shot. An embarrassing moment for both before they enter in to a business presentation. You get to see Tess’ moxie and wits from the first moments of this story.
The instant connection of this couple leads to some incredible passion. A Story filled with flirtation and then sensuality. Engaging conversations, a natural flow to their intimacy makes for a smooth read. You do feel their drive for life, love of family when you see how hard they work, especially hers as she is trying to expand her business alongside her sister.
Trust and communication in a romantic relationship are highlighted via a troublesome issue that arises on Liam’s side. This is a low drama read. There is a moment where business and relationships get kind of mushed and twisted. I can always count on this author for playful and hot romance with a healthy side of family. Two very strong characters immerse themselves in a business relationship full of banter, red-hot chemistry, and real-life quality. This a is very low drama read just pure romance. Layla Hagen writes a fun and easy romance always with strong women, sexy men, a healthy dose of family dynamic and of course an HEA.
