Book 2 in a Trilogy
It was good to be back with Devlin Saint and Ellie Holmes.
First if you haven’t read Fallen Saint then STOP, you need to read that first.
Devlin Saint is a male character you will most assuredly fall quickly for. he ticked all the boxes for me. He is a man who cares deeply and has fallen for Ellie. He does have that edge of an anti-hero. Just when I thought they would finally get the happily ever after that they deserve J.Kenner throws in twists and turns that had me captivated and on the edge of my seat.
Ellie does not know all the secrets that Devlin holds close, in fact he doesn’t know how she will react, so he believes that there is no reason for her to learn the whole truth.
There was plenty of steam, suspense, drama and intrigue throughout this story as the journey Devlin and Ellie are on push their relationship to the limits.
J. Kenner the writing is always all encompassing. She tells a story that draws you in and keeps you engaged from beginning to end.
