This is a series, that I have jumped around in, not reading in order and I haven’t been confused for upset about that at all (and those of you that know me, know this is a grave concept for me).  Reuben and Jules were together 12 years ago, but each of them were “young” and trying to find their places in their new roles in the magical world. There were a lot of insecurities and issues between them that ultimately tore them apart.

As the sisters of Jules have slowly been getting their HEA’s and the magical world has been changing Reuben and Jules have been forced to work together to create change.  Both Reuben and Jules have pined after each other, but their past and their circumstances have kept them apart.  But when Jules’s sister and Reuben’s best friend get married… all bets are off.  He is done waiting.

What follows is a story showing how these two have truly grown over the years as people and into their roles in the hierarchy of their covens.  Juliette Cross knocks it out of the park with her world she created.  There is something about her writing style that just sucks you in and you don’t’ want to put the book down.  Add in all of the magical elements that you can almost imagine as reality.  This book differs in the sense that you don’t get as much sister time, but I didn’t miss it, because Reuben and Jules really need that page time all to themselves.  If you haven’t started this series, you are truly missing out.
