Never Cry Werewolf by Cynthia Eden

Cynthia Eden never disappoints, and I needed a backlist comfort to reset myself. Never Cry Werewolf hit a lot of the things I needed, but it wasn’t my favorite paranormal romance from Eden. It has elements that I enjoyed but there was something about the story that I didn’t connect with. Perhaps it’s the fact the characters are so intriguing but knowing there is only a book for an established couple in this book lets me down.

Lucas Simone and Sarah King come together in an unconventional way. Secrets abound, truths are revealed, and lies are brought to light.

Never Cry Werewolf gives a great example of the detailed stories that Eden creates. As well as a great cast of characters that pull a reader in. This story has action, adventure, as well as mystical elements in which will hold your attention without trying. Lucas comes across as a character that you aren’t sure if you are going to like him. However by the end when you see his dedication to Sarah you can’t help but root for him.

Sarah is also a character that you aren’t sure on how to feel, but once her backstory progresses, it’s easy to understand her choices. Once again, Cynthia Eden pulled me out of reality and kept me there.
