I was so excited to see that Cynthia Eden was branching off into this group.  We met the idea of them in Cross My Heart but didn’t get a lot of depth.  Delilah is out to find missing people, and she feels that Archer is behind the disappearance of his ex.  One thing I love about Cynthia Eden’s books is the fact that she sometimes takes the most unlikable character and make you fall in love.  She adds twists that you aren’t ready for, and that you aren’t expecting.  I loved the dynamic between these two as well as the supporting cast of characters.  Delilah was strong, but Archer gave her the chance to be a better version of herself.  Archer hid behind a persona, and Delilah allowed him to push that way to an extent.  These two are a shining example of not needing the other to be better, but the better person creates a balance that they never thought possible.  I am so excited for this series to continue!
