Hunt Me | E.M. Lindsey & Cora Rose
When I saw this was a spin off from the Deaf Hearts series I just knew it was going to be so good! I am happy to report that Cora Rose and E.M Lindsey still have it! This book is most definitely darker than the Deaf Hearts series but still has a lot of heart in it…with a little murder and lots of stalking. A perfect combination if you ask me.
Denver a s stalker is back and after Archie saves him in a dark alley he becomes obsessed and starts stalking his second stalker. Having read the Deaf Hearts series I was familiar with Denver but I love how we were able to get to know him in this book.
To say Archie is a man obsessed with Denver is a serious understatement- he noticed that Denver had a stalker so he started to stalk both Denver and his stalker. I love that Denver has found his passion in drag but also has a serious career as a professor- which he takes very seriously. He has an amazing support group of people that genuinely care about him. He is a little bit more of a dare devil than he leads people to believe and he sets aside his fear to get to the bottom of who Archie is.
To say Archie is obsessed is a huge understatement. When he sees that Denver is being stalked the becomes the stalkers “stalker” and which is hilarious! Archie explained his stims, and how things made him feel. The hyperfixation is what warmed my heart the most. I am a special education teacher and I love the facts and tidbits of information- and even better the authors included them in the book; because this ADHD nosy gal wanted all the facts on coffins and burial rituals. Did I maybe do some googling….why, yes I did. But what was better was those around him. I loved Archie’s family and the way that they rallied around Denver, helped him feel safe and
