Vincent comes to visit the small estate village (Crompton) that Kate lives and works in. Kate believe that he is on holiday with his family but little does she know that Vincent is about to rock her world and not just in the bedroom.

From the moment Kate was described working in the tea shop singing show tunes I knew I was going to enjoy her as a character. Vincent however took some warming up to. The reason I think I struggled with him at first is I felt there was some deception on his part of the first meeting but he was a true business man and in the past he was a one and done kind of guy.

Once Vincent buy the estate there is lots of tension between Kate and him. Kate loves the Estate and wants nothing to change.  He starts inviting her to discuss details about renovations and he can see she will be an asset to his team and gives her a job.

During their time working together they try to fight their attraction but there is a spark between them that everyone can see. The issue is Kate fears leaving Crompton and Vincent hates to stay in one place and as they work towards their Happily Ever After they support each other conquering their fears/superstitions.

This book was one of those books that you could speed through because you get caught up on the story, but I tried my best to savor it because I was so invested in staying at Crompton.

I think this book is great for someone whole likes to read workplace romance, enemies to lovers with lower angst and stories that take places outside of the United States.

I receive this book as a ARC in exchange for an honest review. I really enjoyed this book and the things that Vincent does in this book make him great book boyfriend material.
