Review: Deathly by Brynne Asher

Rating: 5/5
Steam: 4/5
Angst: 4/5 (outside of couple)
Trope: suspense; thriller; instant connection; damaged heroine
Series: The Dillon Sisters Duet Book 1

There are few times that I read a book that I am unable to see the twist coming. This is one of this times. Brynne Asher is always a must read for me, and I think she has far surpassed my love of Jude and Gabrielle from Overflow. That book always holds a special place because it was my first Asher read, but OMG if you haven’t read Brynne Asher, you NEED to read this book.

Brand and Aria have this insane connection that you can feel coming off the page. There are moments that you aren’t expecting. There are steamy moments that are so hot that you never want to end. The sheer amount of loyalty and trust that these two people have for one another almost instantly after their initial meeting is intense.

There are lighthearted moments that you need to break up the intensity of this book. There is angst, but none of it is between Aria and Brand once they start moving forward. There are so many outside elements that create chaos in their world. But it is never overdone. There is a delicate balance between the two that works so well. READ this book!!! You will not be disappointed.
