However, the past that her husband was a part of has caught up to her and now she is in danger. Dimitri lived a life not so much on the straight and narrow but has become a man who is proud of the life he has now. He is afraid that the feelings he has for Zamira and his part aren’t enough for her. However, she wants him without fail. He is so good with her kids and is willing to do anything he can to keep her safe.
This series continues to give me exactly what I want, and while it is a continuing series, you can jump around the series and read them out of order. It gives the perfect blend of suspense and steam that is what I need with these fast reads.
