I continue on this rabbit hole journey of these authors with Cocky Outlaw. This is a short and dirty novella set in the Cocky Hero world create by Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward. This book follows MC President, Sawyer “Big Easy” Jackson and his instant connection with nurse Elizabeth Houge.
This story is well fleshed out in not at lot of pages. I trusted Daniels and Alvarez with creating a strong and entertaining HEA in few pages. Sawyer struggled in the past with a lot of vices and feels as though he will never be in a committed relationship, but then he spies Elizabeth at a charity function, and instantly his world is flipped upside down. There is no doubt these two are soul mates, and experience that pull from the moment they make eye contact. There is an element of suspense that is solved without strings, and there are some wonderful side characters. If you want something short, kind of dirty, and entertaining. This is the story for you.
