I am continuing down the rabbit hole of Jessica Prince. Bad Alibi is book one in her spin-off Redemption series, and I am loving it so far. When you hear the backstory of Farah, your heart breaks for her… then when you find out the truths of that backstory it breaks all over again. Cannon is a guy who is living life the way he wants. He sees Farah and things start to change, but he makes some HUGE missteps with her. But what I love about his character is while he is flawed, he recognizes when he messes up. And once he is in, and gets Farah convinced he is in… there is no stopping him. I adore the way in which he treats Farah, and the love that he shows her. The group of friends that surrounds Farah is perfect and necessary. I love the growth that these two characters show, but it isn’t exactly personal growth because they are well rounded characters, but growth to find the strengths that they weren’t aware they hold.

I can’t wait to dive into the rest of this series!
