Going into this book I was quite sure what to expect. And about 50% into the book I still wasn’t sure if I was ever going to like the hero or the heroine. He is a self-centered clueless man. While she is a love driven woman who is in love with someone who is selfish. But by the end, Heather Orgeron made me like them both. Raven grew a backbone that I wasn’t sure she was going to get. Nick finally sees the light because he is forced to.

There are moments in this story that you want to throw your kindle because this woman shows up for him time and time again.  Yet, he doesn’t acknowledge what she does for him.  There were times throughout the book that I didn’t think that I would ever get to the point where I liked them, but they both showed extreme growth.  There were hard truths, and feels, but mixed in with light and fun moments.  I just wanted more from each Nick and Raven.
