I didn’t think that Kaylea Cross could top book 2 of the Kill Devil Hills series, but Chase and Becca have far surpassed Harper and Jared as well as Bowie and Aspen. This series as a whole has been one of my absolute favorites that Cross has given us. It has the perfect amount of romance mixed with suspense. And sets us up perfectly for Ryders book. Becca and Chase have their work cut out for them because of the goings on from Becca’s past. She has a lot of hurt and insecurity she is working with from the way she was raised. But Chase is all in, and refuses to let Becca pull back. These two have a connection that you feel off the page, and you don’t want to miss this book.
