Series: Family Ties Book 2
Mary B. Moore never fails to make me belly laugh when any member of the Townsend family is involved. This series follows the Townsend-Rossi’s from Florida and they are just as hilarious and ridiculous as the original Townsend crew, but honestly with Hurst as the patriarch of the family are you expecting anything less. We open this book with Jackson and Sasha who have known each other for years because their parents are best friends. They haven’t seen each other for a long time because Sasha made every excuse possible to avoid him. There are valid reasons for it, and hilarious solutions that she found. While Moore give us the usual humor that you love from her, you also get those moments of suspense and terror because of the things going on around our characters. They have traumas happen but grow from them, and the supporting cast of characters are amazing as always. If you haven’t read Mary B. Moore yet, please do. You will not be disappointed. This is book 2 in the series, you do not have to read book 1, but honestly you need to.
