Once again we get a great addition to the Happily Even Alpha World family of books. Tia, you just wanted to snatch her up and hug her tight because of her history. Christopher made some questionable choices in his past but they gifted him his son. These two experience the BOOM, and it is a slow burn from there. The chemistry jumps off the page you do not miss those moments in the beginning because you completely understand why the slow burn is happening. Tia is trying to work past some of her demons, and Christopher is 100% all in to help her in any way he can. The relationship between these two is electric, and the relationship between Tia and Marcus is adorable. She allows him to come out of his shell in such a natural way. I love the dynamic between all of these characters, and I love the growth of Tia through this story. This is my second book by K.L. Humphreys but you can bet that I will be going through her backlist!
