Sizzling Review Round Up

I am so behind in reviews. Summer Heat, Pool Time and Life kept getting in the way. So here is a random round up of some of my top Sizzling reads from the last few weeks!

Hot and Heavy (Italian Stallions, #5) by Mari Carr
Tropes: blue-collar, dirty-talker, first-responder-mc, found-family, friend-group, instant-attraction, rescue-romance, throuple
Rating: 4/5

I relished the captivating and emotionally charged romance portrayed in this book. What stands out is the remarkable distinctiveness of each story within the series. In this particular installment, we follow Hazel’s journey, where she unexpectedly finds herself enamored with two gentlemen. The intriguing twist lies in the fact that these two men are already in a relationship and are actively seeking a female companion to join them. While I don’t typically gravitate towards M/M romance, the author skillfully interweaves it into the narrative, resulting in a seamless and authentic reading experience.

Spanning over several months, the story allows ample room for the natural progression of the trio’s relationship, while also delving into Hazel’s personal growth and her struggle to confront her past. This organic development not only enhances the romance but also adds depth and complexity to the characters, making their connections all the more meaningful.

All in all, this steamy romance is a delightful journey of self-discovery, love, and acceptance, presenting a fresh perspective on relationships that will captivate readers from start to finish.

As they embark on this charade, something unexpected happens – an undeniable spark ignites between them, and their chemistry soars to new heights. What started as a mere pretense soon turns into passionate and steamy encounters, leaving both of them breathless.

It’s a delightful journey of friends turned lovers, and the transformation of their relationship is both heartwarming and hilarious. Their banter is nothing short of side-splitting, and Carter, a pro football player with a heart of gold, proves to be the dreamboat that Rachel never saw coming.
