Take Me Away by Kelly Elliott

Presented by Carolina.

Won as the best rep of Second Chance.

  1. What is special about this book (Something Unique to it or the trope )
The story was an unexpected second chance. An accident causes Linnzi to have amnesia and forget her relationship with Nolan. Ultimately their love for each other is undeniable. It’s about building trust and rediscovering your true love.
  2. Can it be read as a standalone if part of series
It can be read as a standalone
  3. What do you love most about this book?
The journey tugged on my heart in so many different ways. These two share an incredible love. You break along with Linnzi when everything is revealed. And Nolan’s devotion will have you swooning. There is also flirting and romance as the rebuild their relationship.
  4. Why People should add this to their TBR
It’s a love so deep, not even memory loss would keep them apart! Nolan can’t let go and Linnzi feels their connection so deeply even though she does not remember. I was riveted as the memories are revealed and desperate for them to find their happy ending because of their beautiful connection

The One for Me by Corinne Michaels

Presented by Rachel

Won for Best Rep of Friends to Lovers Trope

1. What is special about this book (Something Unique to it or the trope ).
Devney and Sean are childhood best friends who never got together because the timing was never right – it’s not the typical “they are like a sibling to me” relationship. When Sean is home for six months he takes the opportunity to prove to Devney that they could be more. They navigate tragedy to find their place together

2. Can it be read as a standalone if part of series:
Yes it can be read as a stand-alone

3. What do you love most about this book?
I love how solid their friendship was and how natural the next step was. I also loved how the story was emotional and the two characters really leaned on each other.

4. Why People should add this to their TBR
This is an emotional small town friends to lovers romance. There are also twists you don’t see coming.

Always Been You by QB Tyler

Presented by Heather

Won as best rep of for the Forbidden/Taboo/Dark

  1. What is special about this book (Something Unique to it or the trope ).
This is a taboo romance. The couple have a past relationship and mainstream frowns upon the pair having a romantic relationship.  But Gabrielle has loved James.  James begins to look at Gabrielle in a new light and while they know it isn’t traditional the connection they share is intense.  When they give in to temptation, it is explosive. But how will the world react to their new relationship?
  2. Can it be read as a standalone if part of series:
This book is a standalone, but she does have other taboo books that I would recommend after reading this book! =)
  3. What do you love most about this book?
I love how much this couple really cares about each other.  While their relationship changed, the bottom line is that they know each other very well.  There has always been a level of trust and concern about each other.  They also don’t try to change who they are because they love each other just the way they are.
  4. Why People should add this to their TBR
Q.B Tyler does a fantastic job of hovering over the line of very taboo to just a titch of taboo.  On Top of that she is an amazing writer.  Her character development is amazing while still keeping the book moving.  And her books are SPICY. James and Gabreille cannot keep their hands off each other.  If you are a fan of dirty talking, spicy books where the pair has an intense connection than this definitely needs to be on your TBR list!

Make Me Yours by Melanie Harlow

Presented by Rachel

Won for best Rep of Sibs-Best Friend

1. What is special about this book (Something Unique to it or the trope ).
Cole and Cheyenne have known each other most of their lives because he is her brother’s best friend. Things change for one of the funniest reasons – Cheyenne sends an accidental sext. Once Cole sees Cheyenne in a new light they work through some challenges to finally be together.

2. Can it be read as a standalone if part of series:
Yes it can be read as a stand-alone.

3. What do you love most about this book?
I loved the laugh out loud moment when Cheyenne sexted Cole. It was such a unique moment that finally got Cole’s attention. I also loved that Cheyenne’s brother didn’t go mad over their relationship.

4.  Why People should add this to their TBR
This is a great small town, single dad, brother’s best friend romance. Both main characters are great and there is also great anxiety rep.
