Series: The Kingston Family book 1

I have been reading Carly Phillips since the early days and I know that when she creates a story it is going to be amazing and with swoony men.  I was so very excited when the announcement of this new series came out!

Linc Kingston and Jordan Greene are childhood best friends and coworkers.

Working as Linc’s assistant Jordan has always had feelings for him but refuses to put their friendship in jeopardy. The sudden death of Linc’s father has thrown everything into turmoil. Linc finds out about a half sister he knew nothing about.

This was very well-done friendship romance. It had a very natural and organic feel to the evolution of them being together.  Linc treats Jordan as an equal and partner in so many aspects of their lives.

All it takes is one night for both Linc and Jordan to realize they both had feelings for one another all along. This story did have a lot of emotion to it, most of it centers around Linc’s father.  The level of love and deep emotions came from the love, friendship and steadfast support that Linc and Jordan shared.

I loved this story, from the first chapter to the last and cannot wait to see what Carly Phillips has in store for the rest of the Kingston family.
