Review: Bossy Bastard

A Cocky Hero Club Novel

Bossy Bastard is so good I am now stalking the author because I need MORE!

I loved the Cocky Hero Club from learning of its conception.  I have loved these worlds the Vi Keeland and Penelope Ward have created.  These overly arrogant characters who need to be knocked down a step or two. From the beginning I was all in. Reading the blurb of Bossy Bastard as second time, I worried what I had gotten myself into. I was prepared to truly dislike hero Ashton Barclay.  I wasn’t sure I could deal with all his baggage.  But let me tell you I am so glad I read this book.

If every there was a couple that truly needed each other to be whole, it is Ashton and Emma. Their Meet Cute over a lost jelly doughnut was sexy and magical.  Who would think a jelly donut could be sexy. Later that same day a sexy red dress and a chance spotting at a club leads to a sexy moment and another chance to connect.  Emma and Ashton are fated as two people have never been. I don’t want to give away too much, but this story is filled with emotional ups and downs. So many feels.  So many lost moments for two people who deserve to be loved and cherished.  I loved everything about this story.  The supporting characters in this book are so special.  I can usually tell how great a book is going to be when the supporting characters add value to the story as more than just moving it along. This story was filled with funny moments, witty banter and just enough steam to keep you feeling.  This was a 5/5 read for me.  This absolutely needs added to your TBR Pile.
