Nate and Luna meet and have a one-night stand.  Luna is adamant about not being involved with anyone that lives in her town.  Little does she know that Nate is moving back to that small town.  Nate left Whitecap years ago looking for something else but didn’t exactly find it.  These two works really well together, and Nate’s daughter Evan is someone that Luna guides in a way that Nate knew he was never able.  The relationship between him and Evan, I love especially when you hear their history.  She is acting out for valid reasons, but she is easily understood once you know what the motivation behind it is.  I really enjoy this series so far and the dynamic between these three characters works exceptionally well.

Luna is a work in progress and Nate brings out the best of her.  That doesn’t mean she doesn’t fight against her feelings because of her baggage, but thankfully she has a core set of people that support her in a way she never truly realized they do.
