Vanessa Vale hits rom-com perfection with this series starter. It starts with a bang and it never stops. The meet cute between Maverick and Bridget is everything I wanted and more. Maverick is a swoony hero that falls first, and never stops falling. He is determined to make Bridge his, but she has some past hurts and fears. She is afraid that history is going to repeat itself. There are so many moments in this book that I love, Mallory the best friend of Bridget is hilarious and the type of best friend that you need and want in your life.

Mav’s brothers are a perfect blend of personalities that play off of each other. I haven’t read a lot of Vanessa Vale but this book reenforces my need to read her more.
