I was curious how Nyssa Kathryn was going to continue the moment from her Project Arma series, but I should have never had any doubts that she could keep up the pace. Logan and Grace seamless create a new world in this spin-off series. We were left on a little big a cliffhanger at the end of the Project Arma series when Grace was found out to have told the secrets of the men and what was done to them. So we open up this series with Logan and his team starting up their business and Grace steps in to apologize for the ramifications of her revelations. Grace is keeping secrets and has a valid reason for spilling, but is holding all of that information close to the est. When Logan sees Grace, he sees through her and the fact that she feels conflicted about everything that is going on around her. Grace is in trouble though, and Logan will do anything needed to protect her.

There is a decent amount of world building in this book, but it doesn’t take away from the story. We meet some core characters that we will be seeing in upcoming books, and well as getting to know the rest of the team a little bit better. This is a different take on suspense with the nature of the heroes in these books but Kathryn tells these stories in such a way that it doesn’t seem far fetched. I am exited to see where this series takes us next.
