Drinks with the Bee’s Episode 4
Season 1, Episode 4 on the Shelf Show Notes.
Topic: We Talk with Indie Author of the Coffee Series Sophie Sinclair. We review her two current releases Coffee Girl and the Make-Up Artist. We also talk about the final installment in the series, The Social Hour. Please Note this episode is filled with several moments of uncontrollable giggles. We laughed so much during this episode!
(Becky) – Coffee Girl: The book is called Coffee Girl. You know I had to read it. I mean seriously Coffee Girl; it was meant to be. This story has all my favorites in it. The over the top gay best friend, tormented kitty, the crazy out of touch sister, a brother with a huge heart and the super supportive friend. The book is filled with such great characters! I haven’t even begun to tell you about the main characters Mackenzie “Kiki” Forbes and Tatum Reed. I can’t remember the last time I found this kind of instant love of a book. I made the mistake of starting the book later in the evening. (Don’t do that friends) You will need to read this whole book in one sitting. I stayed up until the early hours of the morning so I could finish it! Kiki and Tatum’s story, has it all!
(Brittni) – The Make-up Artist: The Make-Artist, while a technically a standalone, is a continuation of the storyline that Kiki and Tatum started… on this time we are focusing on the developing relationship of Sarah (the band’s make-up artist) and Lex (one of the band members). And we get to see them all open up just a little more, laugh a whole lot, and we get all the drama, angst, and fulfillment from Sophie once again. Like Becky said, don’t start either of these babies at night, unless you plan on pulling an all night (which actually wouldn’t be too bad with Tatum or Lex keeping you company)
