Sawyer Bennett does it again. Dozer and Jessica are perfection on the page. I love the dynamic of their relationship and how they have both harbored feelings for the other for years but have been afraid to take that step because of how close their friendship is. Dozer finds something out and drops everything to protect JJ and her daughter Thea, who is a refreshing piece of this book. Dozer holds nothing back once their true feelings are out in the open, and I adore the way he treats Jessica and her family. They are truly a part of him. We get the usual cast of characters from the Jameson Force, and you can see just how much of a connection all of them have with each other. We have one more book until the final book releases later in this year, and I am excited to see where Sawyer takes us because it is going to be an excellent adventure!
