When I read a Mary B. Moore book, I know that there are going to be outrageous moments that make me laugh.  I know that there is going to be a story with an HEA.  I laughed so hard at different moments of this book, but there were some extremely difficult and heartfelt ones as well.  Jacinda is a victim of domestic violence, and she is working through her issues and hang-ups.  But at the same time, isn’t really moving forward.

Canon met Jacinda, and he was done… she is the one for him.  But patience is the name of the game with her.  These two butt heads for a couple of years before things move forward because Jacinda keeps Canon at arm’s length and pushing him away with snark is her way of protecting herself.  Once she finally gives in fully, it is worth all the effort Canon has put in.   I love this zany family; DNA and found.  And excited for Reid’s book.
