Cane Justice and Astor Callaway were destined to be together. But Can shot that idea down when they were younger, breaking Astor’s heart. Since then, Astor has done her best to stay away from Cane and everything he represents.
Cane regrets making the decision he did when they were younger, and he tries to make amends by taking care of Astor from afar. But he has decided enough is enough, and he is done trying to do things on the sly because Astor finally spoke more than two words to him.
Ella Goode has a knack for the short and dirty novella that gives me everything that I need. A strong storyline, an instant connection, good characters, and all the moments that I need to get me out of book hangovers or book slumps. I can guarantee a take charge hero that won’t let his heroine get away. If you haven’t read Ella Goode yet, you should.
