Review: Southern Heat by Natasha Madison

When you open this book, there are no words for the amount of heartbreak you feel for Willow. Quinn does everything in his power to create an environment around her that allows her to heal. She has been through so much in her life, and your heart breaks over and over again with her and for her. Quinn is wonderful and frustrating at the same time. He wants to be strong and supportive of Willow, but there are times when his anger and own frustrations at the situation win over watching out for Willow and what she needs. These actions are the reasons that I gave this four not five stars. Because there were moments when Quinn was epically selfish in his actions and attitude about things that happened. Not saying that he didn’t work through those moments quickly and easily, but they could have been avoided altogether if he took a second to think about the why’s and not just react. This a definite slow burn, but the situation called for it. If they have moved faster it would not have felt justified or realistic. We get those glimpses into the other characters in the past and future books but not too much which is nice. Natasha Madison gives us the emotional feels that you need and puts you back together in a way that you can’t wait to get ripped apart again.
