Series: Phoenix book 2
I always expected a steamy and sexy read with plenty of angst and passion when reading a book by Stacey Kennedy. She did not disappoint! Keep Me is the second installment in Stacey Kennedy’s Phoenix series.
Elise Fanning is a PI in NYC who has put up walls to protect herself and her heart. After witnessing a life changing tragedy trust is hard for her. She prefers to stand in the shadows and observe life. She recently managed to breach the security for the elite club, Phoenix to help her best friend. This thrusted Elise into Archer Westbrooks’s path.
Archer Westbrook is the head of security at Phoenix and is completely in awe of Elise and the fact that she was able to breach the club’s security. When an issue arises at the club, he enlists her help, knowing that she has skills he can trust.
Elise and Archer are both reluctant to enter a relationship. Neither of them believes in commitment for different reasons. The attraction between them is palatable and electric. One night at Phoenix changes things for them forcing their attraction to the surface. Both must learn to let down their walls and open to the idea of a forever with each other. I could not get enough of them together. The pleasure and wickedness of this story was just the spice I needed!
This is book 2 in the Phoenix Club series it can be read as a standalone, but you are going to want to read Watch Me trust me. This is a must read if you are looking for a passionate read with amazing characters.
