WICKED FALL, was everything I want in a sexy romance. This story delivers on not only the kink and sexy but intimacy between the couple. It is more than just gratification. It shows the feelings of desire and connection and how with the right person you can find that fulfillment to your desires.
Callie Hayes is the governor’s daughter and sweet and innocent. Woolf Jennings is a longtime family friend and Callie’s older brother’s best friend. There has always been a mutual attraction between them. Woolf has always kept Callie at arm’s length. He felt he was just not good enough for her. When Callie returns home after a broken engagement, Woolf finds it impossible to stay away from her.
Woolf and Callie are truly opposites in their lives. Woolf is dark and Callie is light. Woolf loves debauchery and he has done and seen it all. He loves the thrill of sex and especially enjoys threesomes and has built a sex club on his ranch to cater to all his dark desires. Woolf is a top tier dirty talker. He also a care giver. He is noble, caring and protective. As Callie reemerges in this Woolf’s live he starts to take a hard look at to who he is. He questions what he truly wants and desires.
Callie knows she wants more out of her life than just the mundane. She has always been a good girl who follow the rules and does what is expected of her. She has been incredibly shelters. I enjoyed Callie’s character and her awakening. I loved that she challenged her self. She took control of her power and ask what she desired!
The connection in this story is so good. The intensity of the relationships is phenomenal. Not just the sexual but also the friendships and community of the Wicked Horse. The author does some great world building and introducing characters in this story. Those small glimpses will be leaving you wanting the next book in the series. If you are looking for your next sexy read The Wicked Horse Series is a must!
