World’s Okayest Oracle (Reluctantly) Seeks Demon is a fun, fast paced paranormal romance with chemistry that sizzles from the very first interaction between Gwen and Hugh.

Gwen and Hugh are a lot of fun both individually and together. Gwen’s obsession with cheese is deeply relatable and adds a great running joke throughout the book, and Hugh brings that perfect mix of protective, devoted, and completely gone for her energy that makes a romance impossible to put down. I loved the fake relationship trope here, especially set against the post apocalyptic backdrop, which added extra stakes to their growing feelings for each other.

Beneath all the banter and tension, there is real tenderness between them, and Olivia Dade balances the over the top plot with genuinely heartfelt moments in a way that felt both fun and surprisingly emotional. The side characters, especially Pip and Lorrie, added even more humor throughout.

This is a quick, entertaining read and a great pick for fans of paranormal romance looking for something fun underneath.
