Is there a 3rd act break up: Yes.. in each book
The Tempter Series is a little deviation from Kent’s mafia series. It has those elements and some connections but for the most part exist outside of those worlds. It follows three best friends who own a law firm, and the women who throw them off-kilter.
The Tempter Series follows couples Shardonnay and Xavier; Bentley and Nathan; and finally Danielle and Alistar.
Each of these relationships occur within the confines of the law office each following different circumstances. There is angst and love. Emotion and turmoil. Truths and some lies. Overall this series is enjoyable. There are light moments that are mixed well with the heavy. The reasoning for only the 3.5 stars is there were some elements in each story that I didn’t love. The books themselves are well written and the storylines work but there were a couple of added moments/events/people in the books that I felt weren’t fleshed out as well as they needed to be that is if it needed to be there at all.
That being said… this is a great series. They are quick reads that kept me engaged and with the tie-ins to Kents other series were just want I want to see in an author. She sets up the sister of Xavier’s book as well as possible others and I am excited to see where those stories go.
