The office rivalry between Lincoln Fox and Archer Holloway is amazing-and their banter is so amazing. Archer really knows how to push Lincoln Fox’s buttons and really takes all of the opportunity he can!Lincoln and Archer’s banter is known around the office and folks weren’t sure which it was going to go…the bedroom or jail because their banter was well known around King Sports. Archer is extremely competitive, but it has caused him some issues at King Sports mainly with Lincoln! And the jam that his competitive streak got him into was hilarious! I really love how Archer revealed himself not only to Fox but to readers, there is a lot more to this man than just the uber competitiveness.
Lincoln Fox is competitive and very hard working. He has quiet confidence that he exudes even if he doesn’t always feel it. But Lincoln has spent the last 4 years just working and not enjoying his life, and it is wearing him down. He is also very smart and goes about things a little differently than Archer, which really makes them a great team! Lincoln is quick with the comebacks and really makes Archer
This rivals-to-lovers set in a fun office space was just what I needed. I will be honest, I was not sure how these two would actually get out of their own way and find their way to one another, but Eden effortlessly made it happen! And once these two decided to give into their attraction, they were all in!
If you are a long time fan of Eden Damon, Maddox, Talon, and Miller along with Dalton brothers make appearances (a definite highlight for me). I love watching Damon try to keep Maddox in line while running a huge company, that is most definitely not a matchmaking business! It is so great to see that Maddox never changed! But Asher Dalton and his shenanigans had me rolling- and the way the Archer and Lincoln weren’t really fighting over him as a client because let’s be real, Asher is A LOT! 😉 This book felt like I was hanging out with old friends, meeting new friends, and really warms this reader’s heart! I am so excited to see what is next in the King Sports world, because it is just SO.MUCH.FUN!!!
