Summer Favorites

How was your summer reading?

We had some great reads, but several of us seemed to struggle near the end of summer. We have shared our favorites with some stats and thoughts below.

Amanda

I read a total of 92 books over the summer. This included 10 new to me authors and 9 rereads. I enjoyed new releases from some of my favorite authors, jumped on the Fourth Wing bandwagon and checked off several books from my never ending TBR. Mood reading my backlist saved me from the summer slump for the most part.

My Favorites:

End of June early July was my best reading stretch.  I struggled a lot of August, most my DNFs happened then. In the beginning of the year, I was in my Dark Era and Mafia Era, the summer was all about the small towns.
