Review: Trillion by Winter Renshaw

This story consumed me!!  From the moment I started this book I could not stop!  I was all in from page one.  I love a sexy fake engagement trope, add in a sassy heroine and arrogant wealthy man it is romance novel gold for me.

Trey needs to prove he is a “family’ man.  That he is settled in his life to finish a business deal.  A chance run in with Sophie has her on his mind. He feels an instant connection to her.  She did something no one else has ever down. She treated him like he was human instead of anomaly or a freak. She was respectful of him as a person.  But so much more too.

I loved Sophie.  She is a total boss girl.  She isn’t afraid of hard work.  She works hard and has always done everything she can to provide for both her mom and her sister, even to the detriment of her own happiness.  Sophie has so many walls.  She is broken and for a very good reason. After heartbreak at such a young age, it is amazing she has succeeded as much as she has.

Trey also knows loss. He is also a hard worker and has done so much to expand his family’s business over the years at the expense of his own happiness.  But never is he the poor rich boy.  He has expected his life and doing everything he can to honor it.

Sophie and Trey together was magic.  I loved that she said no and pushed back.  He was set on changing her mind, knowing there was something special about her, but he did in such a subtle way.  Trey and Sophie’s connection is transcending both of their fears and creating a love of the ages.

This was my first-time reading Winter Renshaw and I am a FAN!  Trillion is full emotional twist and turns. The perfect balance of drama and steam between these two.  I did not want their story to end.  There was almost a Pride and Prejudice feel to the story and I am always all in for those!  This was a 5/5 read for me.  I could have easily read another 100 pages of their story.  Complete MAGIC!
