I have been looking forward to this book, and I typically love everything Laramie Briscoe puts onto a page. However, there was something about this conclusion that didn’t resonate with me. EJ and Bri work well together, they have open communication for the most part. They deal with the typical marriage issues compounded with living in the public eye. Briscoe continues to grow their chemistry and relationship, but I think that by this book the story is drawn out. I feel as though perhaps she is trying to add too much into it and should have condensed into a duet. There are some moments that I feel like we could have done without and were a little bit of fan service to lovers of Reaper and Harmony. That being said, this is a well-structured and engaging story that I enjoyed reading. I do hope that we get RJ’s story because his story will be just heartbreaking. You DO need to read books 1 and 2 of this trilogy because the story is a continuation throughout the books.
