Other Woman Drama by Lani Lynn Vale

Lani Lynn Vale has done it again. Other Woman Drama is a messy, angsty, heart-thumping ride I devoured in one sitting.

This is Piers “Webber” Webb and Silver Donahue’s story. These two orbit each other like they’re stuck in some cosmic push-pull that’s equal parts magnetic and maddening. From the second Webber lays eyes on Silver, he knows he’s in trouble.

Silver’s father is basically human trash with a reputation that could make the devil blush. So Webber does what any emotionally-stunted hero does—avoids her. For a year. And when avoidance doesn’t work? He goes with Plan B: be cold, aloof, and borderline mean. And then also dating someone else (who is horrid).

Silver, bless her resilient little heart, knows what she wants—and spoiler alert—it’s Webber.

But after twelve months of being iced out like last week’s leftovers, she finally decides she’s done chasing a man who clearly doesn’t want to be caught. She starts focusing on her own happiness, plastering a smile over her hurt and trying to move on.

And that’s exactly when fate decides to stir the pot. A dangerous twist throws them back together, and suddenly, Webber is faced with the brutal reality that he might lose the only woman who’s owned his heart all along.

Lani Lynn Vale never gives us simple. It’s gritty, it’s messy, it’s sometimes a little bonkers, and yet the payoff is always worth it. Other Woman Drama gives us a protective hero, a heroine who refuses to shrink herself, and a romance so tangled up in danger and emotion that you can’t look away.

If you love protective heroes, fierce heroines, and small-town romance with a side of danger, this book needs to be on your TBR immediately.

Lani Lynn Vale remains one of my auto-buy authors for a reason—her stories may be wild, but they always deliver a love story that sticks with you long after the last page.
