Liars and Liaisons by Sav R. Miller

Grayson James is one of the most unhinged characters I have ever had
the pleasure of reading. He is a haunted man who has been turned into
a monster by events in his past. Sav R. Miller has a way of writing
generational trauma that makes me forgive any sins committed by her
characters. Grayson is the latest in a long line that I would protect
at all costs. Those James men are something else.

Violet Artinos is the half sister of Kal Anderson and readers have
been begging for her story. There were glimpses of her in previous
books and I thought I had a good idea of her personality, but she has
so many more surprising layers to her character. She is the perfect
muse for Grayson. He is OBSESSED and she comes into her own under his
tutelage. The chemistry between these two is undeniable (the bathtub
and piano scenes…)

This story is very plot driven and it is hard to talk about specifics
without spoilers, but Sav did not pull any punches here. I have always
said that she is one of the only authors I trust with certain
vulnerabilities and difficult content. That has never been more true
than it is with this book. There are so many jaw dropping moments,
especially at the end.

Liars and Liaisons is the perfect end to the Monsters and Muses
series. The cameos from the other characters made me so happy and the
epilogue was everything I wanted. I will never stop thinking about
this series.
