“Gorgeous Monster” is an enthralling romance novel that had me hooked right from the prologue.
It starts with a punch, it takes a little while before the romance and spice truly ignite. The initial focus on Cristian’s complex role of rescuing or using Natalia creates a compelling plot that kept me invested in their journey towards togetherness. The intense tension and slow build-up between the two main characters added depth and excitement to the story.
Cristian, an unfeeling monster at the beginning, undergoes a gradual transformation due to Natalia’s influence. It is worth noting that he doesn’t treat her well initially, but in the context of a mafia romance, such dynamics are somewhat expected. Despite this, I thoroughly enjoyed this story and found myself captivated by the side characters as well. The slow-burning romance between Cristian and Natalia was beautifully portrayed, leaving me yearning for more from these captivating characters.
As a reader, I’m now eagerly awaiting Benny’s book and hoping for further glimpses into the lives of these fascinating characters. The anticipation of what lies ahead for them is almost unbearable, but I’m confident that the wait will be worth it.
